I had the honor of photographing the birth of a friend and fellow ECFE mom today! Being present at a birth is one of the most amazing things you can witness. It is God’s true miracle and I wish that more momma’s would have this captured.
Shayla has a 3 year old daughter and this baby’s gender was a big surprise! There are NO boys in her family lineage and their family claims “they just can’t make boys.” Baby boy was a little stubborn so Shayla ended up being induced which made this birth capture easy to plan around. She was induced in the morning and everything went very quickly. He was born at 12:57 pm and came in at 9 lbs. 14 oz.! Since they were not expecting a boy he doesn’t have a name as of yet, dad has the honor of giving him a name!
